When it comes to micro weddings, sometimes the simplest settings hold the most beauty. As a Tucson wedding photographer, I’ve seen celebrations of all sizes, but there’s something uniquely heartfelt about a wedding with only your closest people present.
This intimate rooftop ceremony at Mercado San Agustín was just that, short, sweet, and full of love. With only seven guests in attendance, it felt like a private moment suspended in time. The rooftop itself was absolutely darling, charming, tucked away, and full of character. I couldn’t help but imagine how magical it would be at sunset, with golden light pouring over the terra cotta tiles and string lights glowing above.
After the ceremony, we wandered through the Mercado courtyard, which offers vibrant, textured backdrops, from iron balconies to blooming vines. On busier days, I recommend taking a short walk just across the street, where a quiet nook awaits with soft European charm, arched doorways, stucco walls, and a dreamy streetscape that feels straight out of Spain.
Whether you’re planning a big celebration or keeping things small and sacred, this location is a gem, and proof that love doesn’t need a crowd to shine.
Looking for a Tucson wedding photographer who knows how to capture intimate, stylish weddings in unique places? I’d love to help you create something beautiful.
